Volunteering
Lovin The Skin I’m In serves our community at various times throughout the year. Some of our volunteer opportunities have been with the Service League of Green Bay’s Back-to-School Store, The Fall Festival on Broadway, developing and launching a hair care initiative.

Small groups of girls at the following schools meet to build self-esteem and a supportive community.

Activities
Experiences and opportunities allow the girls to bond, have fun, foster sisterhood and develop life long relationships.

MISSION STATEMENT
To equip school-age Afro- American boys with the skills and confidence to constructively navigate the limited diversity in NEW.
This will be accomplished by helping them:
- Build Self-Awareness
- Know their identity and be confident in it
- Know their gifts and how to leverage them
- Embrace Vulnerability
- Push the boundaries of their comfort zones
- Learn how to constructively engage
- Walk in Humility and Courage
- Balance self-confidence with respect for others
- Be empathetic, but stand on conviction
